"OPEN HOUSE" to welcome newcomers!

2-4pm 1st Sunday of every month!

"Be the change you want to see!"
~ Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

Nia in the North is a laboratory where teaching and learning co-exists, and a place where we all co-create this odyssey...

My intent is to honor you and create an intimate and safe vessel where you can enter into a deep inquiry through movement and find yourself. You will have a chance to arrive in your body away from your head, in the space and in your process, to get a personal sense of yourself and your dance.

The studio was created for you and others and myself to dance out our inner flame from a place of desire and deserving. While sharing is encouraged, your silence is truly appreciated. The dance allows us to arrive in our bodies out of our heads, leaving the voice of words behind when entering the studio. Only during this silence you will self-discover and crack open.

If the movement form is new to you, I encourage you to take a breath, let it go and remember this is your dance; therefore you cannot do it wrong. I will provide gentle guidance and inspiration to assist the ignite you on this journey. Every class has facilitation and structure and welcomes you to be fully present in your participation.

If you wish to share anything my door is always open in or outside the dance floor.

Studio NIA in the north welcomes you as an extension to my family with love and in gratitude,

~Rosy

"My introduction to Nia, through Rosy, was a beautiful experience, right from the moment I first entered her amazing studio. The music, the lighting, the color, the mirrors and more, all seemed to welcome me into the gentle and safe healing space. Any inhibitions I may have had were eased by observing Rosy engaged in the NIA dance and movement herself. The assurance that NIA would work for me, given my limited range of motion was what I needed to carry myself forward to participate in whatever manner fit for me. It was, simply put, a beautiful experience."
~ Catherine Baylis

"Even if you don’t know the right steps, you can dance. And if you can dance, who bothers about the right steps?"
